Rajasthan: 76.52 lakh people vaccinated so far, Night curfew to be imposed in Udaipur

Many commercial establishments have been sealed for not following the COVID Guidelines in many districts by the administration.

A record 5 lakh 28 thousand people have been administered Covid vaccine in Rajasthan yesterday. With this, more than 76 lakh 52 thousand people have been given Covid vaccines so far. More than 10 lakh 37 thousand people have been administered the second dose of Covid vaccine in the state so far. AIR Jaipur correspondent reports that Health department has set a target to vaccinate 5 lakh people daily in the state.

Yesterday, the Department achieved this target by conducting 4,129 vaccination sessions. Rajasthan continues to register a higher number of new cases ofCOVID-19on a daily basis. 2,866 new cases were reported in the state yesterday. The maximum 525 new cases reported from Jaipur, while Jodhpur recorded 313 new cases. Meanwhile, 783 patients have been recovered. The number of active patients in the state has gone up to 18 thousand 146.

Yesterday, 12 more people died due to COVID infection. Many commercial establishments have been sealed for not following the COVID Guidelines in many districts by the administration. On the other hand, Udaipur district administration has decided to impose night curfew in the city from 8 PM.
